About flexlist

A leaderboard of people where the only thing that decides your position is how much you have paid. It is a status game that admits it is a status game.

The idea

Every leaderboard on the internet claims to measure something — quality, popularity, merit. Then it turns out to measure whoever understood the algorithm best. This one skips that part. There is one number, everyone can see it, and it is the number you paid.

Anyone can outflex anyone at any time, starting at $10. Nobody gets a permanent position, and nobody can be removed by anything except somebody else paying more.

What you get

  • A profile page with your name, one line about yourself, and a longer description.
  • One outbound link that is followed, not blocked from search engines.
  • A public click counter, so you can see what the spot is worth.
  • An email when a payment lands just above you, with the amount it takes to get back above them already filled in.
  • Or the opposite: pay anonymously, appear as an Anonymous Whale, and let the number speak on its own.

Everything is public

Every payment, every rank change and the site's total revenue are visible to anyone on the stats page. There is no hidden sponsorship, no promoted placement, and no way to buy a position that is not shown as bought. The whole point falls apart the moment anything is hidden.

The only thing not public is the email address behind each profile, which exists so you can be told when someone outflexes you.

How the money works

Payments go through a payment provider that acts as the merchant of record, which means they handle the card details and the sales tax. flexlist never sees your card number.

Payments are final. There is no subscription, nothing renews, and nothing is charged again unless you decide to raise your rank. The full version is in the rules and the terms.

Who runs it

One person, working on it alongside other things. The legal details are in the imprint. Questions, reports and corrections go to hello@flexlist.net and are answered by the same person who built the site.

The honest part

This is not an investment, a service with deliverables, or a growth strategy. It is a public list where position costs money. Some people buy a spot because the link and the attention are worth more than the amount. Some buy it because it is funny. Both are fine — just decide which one you are before you pay, because the money does not come back.
