Rules

flexlist is a public leaderboard of people. There are no ads, no votes, and no algorithm. You pay to stand above everyone else, and rank is what you paid — nothing else.

The boards

One payment ranks you on every board that includes it. The boards only differ in which slice of time they look at.

  • All-time is the main board. Your rank is everything you have ever paid. It does not expire.
  • Today is a rolling 24 hours. Each payment counts from the moment it clears, then drops off exactly a day later.
  • Daily is a UTC calendar day, midnight to midnight, starting August 20, 2026. The current day stays open until it closes; past days freeze permanently.
  • Categories and countries have their own boards using the same amounts. Winning one of those is cheaper than winning the main board.

How ranking works

  • New entries are whole US dollars, $10 minimum, $1,000,000 maximum, $1 at a time. No cents.
  • Taking #1 costs at least $5 more than the current #1 on that board.
  • Paying less than #1 still puts you on the board, at whatever rank that amount supports.
  • Equal amounts keep the order they were reached in — whoever got there first stays higher.
  • Already on the board? Enter the same profile again and raise your rank. The new total must be at least $1 above your current one, and checkout only charges the difference. Nobody else can take your rank by paying just that difference.

Rank is assigned when the payment clears, not when checkout opens. If someone outflexed you while you were paying, you land wherever your amount supports at that moment.

What you can put on your profile

  • A display name or an alias, 240 characters. Real names are allowed, pseudonyms are welcome.
  • One line about yourself, up to 90 characters. This is the headline everyone sees.
  • A longer description, up to 400 characters, shown on your profile page.
  • One outbound link, a country, and one category.
  • A picture generated from your name — everyone gets one, and no two are alike. Uploading your own is not possible yet.
  • Or none of the above: pay anonymously and appear as an Anonymous Whale with no name, no link, no country. Only the amount.

Messages

  • Outflex someone and you can leave them a message, up to 120 characters. It costs nothing.
  • You can only write to someone you actually passed on the board, and only one message at a time — a new one replaces the old.
  • It is pinned to your profile with their name on it, shown on theirs, and included in the email telling them they were outflexed.
  • The person it is aimed at can take it down from their profile at any time, using the link in that email. It stays on yours.
  • Keep it funny, not nasty. Threats, slurs, and anything about someone other than the two of you get removed — without a refund.

What is not allowed

  • Chat and invite links — Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Messenger, Signal and similar. This is a board of people, not group chats.
  • Sexual content, adult platforms, and anything NSFW.
  • Link shorteners. Submit one and it is followed and replaced by the address it really points to — which then has to pass these rules like any other link. Nothing hides behind a short link here.
  • Query parameters in links. They are stripped, so affiliate and tracking URLs will not work.
  • Impersonating a real person or organisation you are not, or claiming endorsements you do not have.
  • Personal information about anyone else — names, photos, documents, account details. Your profile is about you.
  • Bank statements, payment confirmations, or identity documents, in any form. Nobody here has to prove anything — the amount is the proof.
  • Hate speech, threats, harassment, and scams.

Moderation

Your listing goes live as soon as the payment clears. It is not held for review first — that would punish everyone for the few who break the rules. Instead, listings are reviewed after they appear, and anything breaking these rules is taken down.

A listing removed for breaking the rules is not refunded. Read the rules before you pay, not after.

Every profile has a report link. If something here does not belong, tell us at hello@flexlist.net.

After you pay

  • Your profile is public, and so is every payment you make.
  • Your outbound link is a real, followed link — that is part of what you are buying.
  • Clicks on your link are counted and shown publicly on your profile.
  • Your email is used for three things and nothing else: confirming your payment, telling you when you are outflexed, and telling you if you lose The Crown. It is never shown and never sold.
  • Not every payment that passes you sends an email. The people closest below it are told — up to three of them, plus whoever lost #1, plus anyone the payer left a message for. A jump from $10 to $20,000 would otherwise mail everyone it passed, and that is spam, not news. You also will not get a second notification within six hours of the first.
  • Payments are final. Being outranked later, dropping off the Today board after 24 hours, getting fewer clicks than you hoped, or being removed for breaking the rules are not grounds for a refund.

The full legal version is in the terms of service. If anything here conflicts with it, the terms win.
